Moong Misal Pav

Benefits

Whole Moong is very rich in potassium, magnesium and fiber. It has very high in protein content. Some of the benefits are:

Moong Misal Pav

Steps

  1. Soak half a cup of sabudana and whole moong for few hours

  2. Cook whole moong in pressure cooker

  3. Saute lots of chopped onions, green chilly and add all tempering spices

  4. Cook sabudana in little oil/ghee

  5. Roast few papodams and crush them.

  6. For serving mix cooked moong dal, onion masala, crushed papad and any namkeen

  7. Sprinkle some chopped onion on top

  8. Serve fresh Pav with this masala

Ingredients

  • Half a cup of sabudana

  • 1 cup whole moong

  • 7-8 chopped onions

  • 1-2 green chilly

  • Tempering spices like turmeric, red chilly powder etc

  • Oil/ghee

  • Roasted papodams

  • Any spicy namkeen

  • Fresh pav
