This thali is an amalgam of all the basic nutrients like protein, carbohydrate, fats, minerals, vitamins and fiber and combines all the flavours like salty, sweet, sour, bitter and savoury.
Dal Panchmel - Panchmel means combo. Dal Panchmel is a combination of 5 different dals. Each of these 5 dals contain different amino acids. There are 20 amino acids out of which nine amino acids are essential so if one dal lacks a amino acid then the other dal provides it. So when we mix these dals we get all essential amino acids. Amino acids are the basic building blocks of our body, right from cell structure to chemical reactions in the body.
Dal Bati - Dal Bati is made of wheat which is a complex carbohydrate. Complex carbohydrates are good for your body. Using wheat bran instead of plain wheatis a better choice as it has more fibre and itkeeps you full all day long as it has better satiety level. It curbs obesity and helps in weight loss.
Missi Roti - Main ingredient in Missi Roti is Besan or chickpea flour which is full of protein. It also regulates the blood sugar level. Ideal for weight loss and helps in maintaining muscle mass and strength.
Rajasthani Kadhi Pakoda - Kadhi is made of Curd and Besan. Curd which is loaded with good bacteria. It is rich in magnesium too which is an essential mineral for our body.
Besan has tremendous health benefits as it lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases and helps to control diabetes. Gatte in Gatte ki Sabjiare made up of Besan too.
Ker Sangri Dakh - Ker Sangri is native to Rajasthan. Sangri are rich in minerals like Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Zinc, Protein and Fiber. It also contains Saponins which helps in boosting the immune system and lowering cholesterol levels. It has been used since ancient times and is also used during pregnancy as safeguard against miscarriage.
Aloo Pyaz ki Sabzi , Chakki ka Saag and Kabuli Pulao are some other favourites of Rajasthan as is Mirchi Wada - Mirchi translates to chilies and Wada to deep fried fritters made with gram flour. It is a savoury snack that combines Besan and green chilies. Green Chillies are a rich source of Vitamin C. Mirchi Wada is a popular South Indian snack and is called Mirapakaya Bajji in Telugu, Milagai Bajji in Tamil.

Malpua Rabdi - Malpua an Indian desert, is a winter delight also God's favourite. It's first reference was made in Rigveda. It is referred to as small pancakes and generally served with chopped dry fruits and rabdi as toppings. Malpua Rabdi has Milk, Dry Fruits and Sugar. Dry Fruits are a rich source of all essential minerals like Iron, Copper, Magnesium, Potassium, Phosphorus, Protein, Riboflavin, Zinc and Vitamin A,B, C, E and K. Milk provides Calcium again an essential mineral which helps in bone formation.
Don't forget to add Salad or Kachumber, Lasan ki Chutney, Achar(pickle) like Kaachra Mirchi and Ker ka Achar.
